The brief
Marcus ran a painting and decorating business across East London with a solid repeat client base but inconsistent new enquiries. He had an old Wix site that hadn't been touched in three years, ranked for nothing, and looked nothing like the quality of work he actually delivered.
What we built
The result
The old Wix site had a 4.2-second load time on mobile. We replaced it with a Next.js site that loads in under a second. The visual difference was stark — Marcus's work is genuinely impressive, and the new site actually showed it.
We restructured the sitemap to target specific job types (feature walls, full redecorations, commercial fit-outs) rather than generic "painter decorator" searches. Each service page targets a different local keyword cluster.
Within four weeks of launch, Marcus had more enquiries than he could handle. He's now six weeks booked out and has put his day rate up.
